History

Golden Coast was established 33 years ago over which time it has developed from a small family-run business, to become the UK's largest independent distributor of leisure products including sauna, steam, hot tubs, swimming pools and associated products - many on an exclusive basis.

Today, the company has a multi-million pound annual turnover and not only supplies its own network of nationwide dealers but also distributes products to major designers/specifiers, contractors and providers of domestic and commercial leisure facilities throughout the country.

Golden Coast became the first company in our industry to gain ISO9002 quality accreditation through our dedication to quality, innovation and service, which has become our mantra and trademark. Not least 'Service', which is perhaps the greatest accolade to our employees who are considered to be of the highest quality.

Over the years – and still today - we have led by innovation; in the way we take the leisure concept into new commercial and consumer sectors, to moving into supplying the best quality products, often being the first to introduce them into this country.

Our experience and expertise spans all aspects of the leisure sector. We gained the prestigious SPATA Gold Award for an indoor pool - the first we had ever designed and constructed commercially – and we introduced a new concept in Olympic-sized pools for training our future national swimmers in our schools and universities.

And it hasn’t stopped there! As corporate Britain established its international credentials so we introduced the ‘Kugel’ – a world first in tactile water features that adorns multi-national headquarters and urban environments alike. In the expanding world of theme parks, we plunged unsuspecting riders on the Oblivion big ride at Alton Towers into a thick layer of fog.

As an independently owned and operated company we strive to offer our clients the best. From quality products and service to innovative ideas that will help us meet the challenges and opportunities in the market both now and in the future.
